The series follows the adventures of 13-year-old Milo Murphy, who just happens to be the (fictional) great-great-great-great grandson of the Murphy's Law namesake. Milo is the personification of Murphy's Law, where anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
The great "Weird Al" Yankovic has been expanding into TV recently, having taken over as bandleader on the recently-canceled Comedy Bang Bang, doing voice work on Bojack Horseman, and now announcing heavy involvement with a new kids show on the Disney XD.
Now Disney XD has debuted the opening title sequence for the show on its YouTube channel, with music performed by Weird Al himself.
Along for the ride are his best friends Zack (MeKai Curtis, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) and Melissa (Sabrina Carpenter, Girl Meets World).
The show has also signed on a few big names for the extended cast. Ming-Na Wen and Bret Dalton are playing time travel agents, Savannah and Brick, while Jemaine Clement is playing time traveler, Dr. Zone with Sophie Winkleman as his sidekick, Time Ape.
The 22-minute series hails from creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, co-creators of Phineas and Ferb.
Born with Extreme Hereditary Murphy's Law condition (EHML), a trait that has affected the men in the Murphy family for generations, Milo is always expecting the unexpected. Will you be checking out this new show?
