Rocket League Gets 4K Support in PlayStation 4 Pro Patch Next Week
Feb 16 2017
The new update will add support for the PlayStation 4 Pro by allowing the game run at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, which is higher than the standard 1080P resolution that is now supported. Developer Panic Button assisted Psyonix with the update and PS4 Pro compatibility. This will work across both single player screens and two-player split-screen. It's out now for PS4, PC and Xbox One. The update to the resolution is a small, but welcomed update.
Psyonix also says that this will be the "first of many updates in 2017", so fans of Rocket League should keep their eyes peeled throughout the year for more improvements and more content. A "Player's Choice" crate will also be arriving, containing some of the community's favourite items.
Premium DLC cars from Hot Wheels, Bone Shaker and Twin Mill III (sold separately). They've since released multiple patches, some of them improving the state of the game. There are several games with built-in PS4 support that offers players an option to either have a higher resolution or a better performance but under a lower resolution. Since then, free updates and DLC have been introduced to the game - including new arenas, game modes, and other cosmetics. Same as before, we want to discuss this with you in the comments.
On the base model, gamers will also benefit from 60fps, albeit at the lower 1080p resolution.
