Winter tired CT residents get a break today with temperatures around freezing, some sunshine and no snow.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Frederick County.
While the Lehigh Valley is expecting an inch of snow or less from this system early Saturday, getting out and about will likely require waterproof boots or shoes.
Today: Increasing clouds, with a high near 28. Northwest winds 10 to 20 miles per hour. High profile vehicles traveling on north-to-south oriented roadways will be subject to strong cross winds.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be 31 to 39 miles per hour or gusts will range between 46 and 57 miles per hour.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 12. Lows around 30. Northwest winds 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. West winds 10 to 20 miles per hour. The cool temperatures will drop as low as the mid-30s on the North Shore Wednesday night.
On Saturday morning, snow is expected mainly before 5 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 38. West wind 9 to 16 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Cloudy, with a low around 30.
Weekend weather looks pleasant, with partly sunny skies and a high of 78 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday.
