Launch Date Samsung has officially announced their Unpacked event for March 29 in NY where they will unveil the Galaxy S8.

So, it seems, Samsung has made a decision to trademark a new name for its display tech; we don't know if the "EDGE" name is being ditched, but what is coming along is the "Infinity Display".

Samsung's upcoming XCover 4 will go on sale in Europe starting this April. Do you prefer EDGE Display or Infinity Display? To break this down, Samsung is manufacturing 4.7 million units of the Galaxy S8 which will be ramped up to 7.8 million by April.

There has been a ton of information revealed about the Samsung Galaxy S8. The company delivered on the promise of high screen-to-body ratio, as we've seen renders showing the phone in its full glory.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are expected to feature large dual-edged curved displays with no Home Buttons or navigation buttons in the front. The Galaxy S8 also seems to have a similar appearance, thanks to a screen that will occupy nearly the entire front.

Which means, you will now be able to buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 for $300 whereas the Galaxy S7 Edge will cost you $445.

A user has just unveiled new photos of one of the most awaited smartphones of the moment: the Samsung Galaxy S8!

The leaks suggest that both smartphones will be similar in height to the Galaxy S7 family, but the S8 Plus could be the widest handset the firm has yet to make. Meanwhile, the image showing the bottom featured a speaker, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

This will tighten the already-intense race against Samsung Electronics' upcoming counterparts, as the Seoul-based firm wowed the mobile industry past year by adding iris scanners into its ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.

It appears that both the S8 and the S8 Plus will be designed with wireless charging, as the charging port cutouts are missing, and will be come with the S Pen.

There was plenty of talk about new tablets at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and Samsung contributed to the discussion. It also guarantees that the device is protected from humidity and salt water.
