Lady Gaga Unveils Her New Single "The Cure" At Coachella
Apr 17 2017
"I love you guys so much", she continued, according to Attitude. The song seems to be a flashback to Gaga's earlier hits. The upbeat, yet somber song was met with overwhelming love from the audience. According to Pitchfork, she put on the predictable selection of hits and newer songs off of her recent album Joanne, but she also made a decision to perform a new song and then promptly announced that it would be released immediately.
After the first two tracks, she asked the crowd how they were doing after a day of drinking, and said people had been asking her if she was anxious about going on at 11:30. Pausing for a moment to speak to the crowd Gaga said that she was excited about the next part of the show as she had been keeping a big secret to herself.
She made her first outfit change after Just Dance, re-emerging in a black leotard with sequinned boots and a matching denim jacket.
Set to take the stage on Saturday and then again on April 22, Gaga is stepping in for Beyonce who was originally announced for the music festival but was forced to drop out due to doctors orders after becoming pregnant with her second and third children. "I have been through so much in my life and I've seen so much".
"Lady Gaga is ready for Coachella and is figuring out some surprises to do for her shows", an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Less than a day after its debut, the new single has already shot to the No. 1 spot on iTunes in the us and around the world.
