This means, users will have to recharge with monthly tariff packs in order to continue using Reliance Jio's network. It's that simple. Existing Summer Surprise offer subscribers, there's good news for down below. "Considering above, we request for TRAI's immediate intervention and issuance of suitable directions to Reliance Jio for withdrawing the said offer on immediate basis and notifying the consumers about withdrawal of said offer from the date of advisory received from TRAI", the letter said.

Note that these plans and the Jio DhanDhanaDhan offer are yet to be officially announced by Jio.

Several research agencies predicted that Jio's free offers are negatively impacting the growth in revenue and profit of established telecom operators such as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone, BSNL, among others. Reliance Jio continuing with this offer is held as not meeting the regulatory norms, in the garb of configuration changes. Upon successful payment, you'll get a confirmation SMS on your Jio phone number.

The billing cycle for Dhan Dhana Dhan offer will start from July onward. While Summer Surprise offer required you to make a recharge of Rs 303 or Rs 499, with the new offer you will need to recharge of Rs 309 (1GB/day) or Rs 509 (2GB/day).
