Thursday forecast: Sunny and dry to end the week with frost tonight

Sunday’s First Warning Forecast Tracking clearing skies and highs in the 50s and 60s

It will be windy again Thursday with highs in the low 70s. Skies will remain mostly sunny and there will be some gusty winds in the weekend forecast.

First, we'll have to wade through a Thursday soaker, with periods of rain, a few heavy downpours and even the possibility of a strong to severe thunderstorm or two. A few days later, accumulating snow fell across parts of the area.

This south wind will increase Sunday morning into a gentle breeze. Temperatures are set to significantly drop and approach two degrees Celsius lower than the seasonal average. Warmer air will start to move back north.

Saturday Morning Lows: Near 30 Afternoon Highs: Low-Mid 40s Cloud cover: Sunny with some high, thin clouds.

Overnight lows are going to be a bit chillier than this morning, falling down into the low to mid 40's. Precipitation: No precipitation is expected. Winds will be light and variable. West wind 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 20 miles per hour.

The winds will pick up late Friday, with temperatures dropping to the low 60s on Saturday.
