Police show the knives wielded in London terror rampage

This anti-terror video has gone viral after London Bridge attack

The gang crashed the vehicle into railings and then ran through Borough Market, randomly stabbing more terrified victims at bars and restaurants, before armed officers arrived and shot them dead.

As the fallout from the atrocity continued, all eight people killed in the massacre were identified, while a further 10 victims remain in a critical condition.

Detectives say Butt's payment was declined for the truck, meaning he turned to "plan B" to hire the van.

The intended truck was smaller, but similar to the one used in the Nice, France attack previous year.

In a rare glimpse into the weeklong investigation, police released details on Saturday that showed Khuram Butt originally tried to rent a 7.5-ton truck.

A 16-year-old was arrested on Wednesday for wielding a machete outside Barking Station in east London while another two men were arrested for carrying machetes near Petts Wood station in Bromley, south east London.

Another video that has emerged since the attack shows the three terrorists stabbing a drinker before being shot dead by police. There were also bags of gravel, chairs and a suitcase meant to hide their murderous intent if the rental company or friends asked why they had hired a van.

British law enforcers also released a photo of one of the pink 12-inch ceramic knives, which the criminals used in the attack.

- A middle-aged London man has given a awful account on how he fought terrorists during the London Bridge Terror Attack.

The arrests are not understood to be connected, but followed only a few days after Islamic State claimed responsibility for a knife attack on London Bridge.

"A Saturday night for London, a week after the bad attacks at London Bridge, is a chance for people to show the unity and resilience of this great city and the generosity of Londoners in getting out and raising money to help the survivors, the victims and their families", comedian Amy Lame, appointed London's "night czar" by mayor Sadiq Khan, said.

The trio were wearing hoax suicide belts made of plastic water bottles wrapped in grey duct tape.

Police are hunting any possible accomplices in the attack in which three men mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge and then launched a knife rampage.

Police also confirmed there had been a call about him to an anti-terrorism hotline, but no evidence was given that he was planning an attack.

Two British counter-terrorism sources told CNN that the arrest was part of a drive by British police and the MI5 intelligence agency to take known Islamist extremists "off the streets" by going after them for crimes unrelated to terrorism.

Butt, who police consider the attack ringleader, had been on bail after being arrested for fraud in a case in October of previous year, police said.

Haydon went on to say that "it's feasible when you look at their actions, they were still fairly close to the van, there is a possibility they could have come back to the van". Officers also discovered a Koran in their safe house, opened at a page on martyrdom.

A police officer who was stabbed in the eye trying to stop the attackers with his baton said Thursday he was sorry he couldn't do more.
