Ubisoft Unveils Mysterious VR Project Transference

Ubisoft Announces Multiplayer Arcade VR Shooter 'Space Junkies', First Screenshots Revealed

Ubisoft has announced Transference, a new virtual reality thriller due out in spring 2018 for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift, as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In the live-action teaser Wood explains that his production company SpectreVision is collaborating with Ubisoft Montreal on this project.

For more on Transference, watch the quirky trailer below. In Transference players will experience techno psychology and maze like puzzles to solve the mystery surrounding a family.

Ubisoft has shown a trailer for Transference, what looks to be an experimental new VR game, during their E3 2017 press conference. The title has an intriguing concept - the "destructive tale of a man's obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories".

Details about the game are obviously sparse but actor Elijah Wood is deeply involved.

While the narrator at the end of the video assures you that whatever happens in the consciousness can't hurt you, something tells us that it can, in fact, hurt your game's character.
