Andromeda Releases 10-Hour Trial

Mass Effect Andromeda Gets Free Demo on PS4, Xbox One and PC with New Trailer

Once your 10 hours is up, your progress will carry over to the full game if you decide to purchase it.

Available until 1 November, the free trial includes both single-player and multiplayer, the former letting players explore the planet of Eos, the latter including all the game's competitive and cooperative modes.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is now available for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.

Electronic Arts and BioWare gave to try out Mass Effect: Andromeda even before the release, but then the offer was available only through subscription Access.

It wasn't a complete disaster however.

Though Mass Effect: Andromeda won't be seeing a sequel in the foreseeable future, Bioware Edmonton is working on Anthem, a shared world third person shooter releasing in Fall 2018 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Of course, you have to select the free trial option, because the page is the same as the purchase for the full demo.

You can download the demo here for PC, here for PlayStation 4 and here on Xbox One.

After the epic undertaking of Zelda for the Nintendo Switch, I've only just got around to playing Mass Effect Andromeda. In addition, all multiplayer game modes are available to players in the trial as well. It's the same trial that was originally available to EA Access members but you won't need a membership to download it this time.
