Honor V9 Play debuts in China with Full HD screen, 3000mAh battery

Honor V9 Play with 5.2-inch display 4GB RAM 3000m Ah battery body announced

The Honor V9 Play features a 5.2 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display.

The phone runs on Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.1. Although the handset sports dual-SIM support, thanks to the SIM-tray being a hybrid design, it can either accommodate an extra SIM or a microSD card.

Powered by a 2GHz octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 960 chipset the Honor 9 is created to perform flawlessly even in the most demanding conditions.

The smart phone is budget mobile and offering lots of feature, the camera quality are extremely awesome and the phone has 32 GB of Internal Storage which is enough. Out front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash.

An 8-megapixel camera is present on the back side of the phone and it has the f/2.0 aperture.

The phone got 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS / GLONASS connectivity. The V9 Play also packs in a 3,000 mAh battery. The company also claims that the fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear can unlock the phone in just 0.4 seconds. The smartphone run Huawei's EMUI 4.1 atop Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It houses 16GB internal memory and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The Honor V9 Play comes with a 5.2-inch 720p display along with a 13 MP f/2.2 primary camera along with phase detection autofocus (PDAF). This front cam has a f/2.0 aperture and an 84° wide-angle lens meant for better selfies.

If you were surprised by the Honor V9 Play's pricing, the Honor 6 is going to blow you away. Its dimensions are 143.8 x 72 x 8.85mm, and it weighs 150g. Manufacturers coupled the processor with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Red, Blue and Black colors options.

The Honor V9 Play goes on sale from September 12th.

The price of new budget phone Huawei Honor 6 Play is CNY 599 which is approximately equal to Rs.5900.
