After these confidences, to the less direct, Lady Gaga then announced that she meant to take a break from music after her tour Joanne World Tour.
"GAGA: FIVE FOOT TWO" follows the superstar at her most vulnerable moments as she pushes through chronic pain, heartbreak and produces a soul-blooming album. "It doesn't mean I don't have some things up my sleeve", said Gaga.
During the press conference, she teared up when asked about her struggle with chronic pain, which forced her to cancel a September 4 performance in Montreal, Canada. Titled Gaga: Five Foot Two, 100-minute movie directed by the American Chris Moukarbe highlights the intimacy of the singer in an entirely new way. "There's nothing you can do, beyond filming", he said.
One of the most memorable scenes in the film comes when Gaga addresses her feud with fellow pop star Madonna.
"I think in a lot of ways, people will learn from it. It's hard. But it's liberating too".
"I'm going to take a break, I don't know how long".
It has been a decade since she emerged as one of the top stars in the world, with hits such as Bad Romance and Born This Way.
Still, the documentary also shows the staying power of their friendship through it all, as evidenced by the bouquet of flowers she received from her famous ex prior to her massive Super Bowl performance."Nothing like flowers from your ex-fiancé on the day of the Super Bowl", she cracks. I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt [Williams].
Lady Gaga's taking some time for herself. While tearing up, she said, "It's okay".
From the beginning of the documentary, the subject of the Super Bowl is front and center - the film opens with Gaga suspended in the air, moments before the show begins. I'm never not creating.
