Liverpool should consider youngster Paulinho as potential Coutinho replacement

It's likely the Anfield club will be upset with Grau's comments having written to Barcelona urging them to stop trying to unsettle Coutinho. Those Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona rumours are resurfacing.
However, it is highly unlikely that, after rejecting a sizeable offer for the No. 10 in the summer, that Liverpool will sanction Coutinho's departure in January.
Coutinho failed to complete a high profile move to join Barcelona during the summer transfer window despite huge bids from the Catalan giants but nonetheless, the Brazilian worldwide could still join the Spanish giants in January.
"The words of Oscar Grau were "if we had to pay for him, we've got the money for him". The Reds were unmoved when Coutinho officially asked him to be sold.
Liverpool were adamant throughout the off-season that Coutinho was going nowhere and, despite the player handing in a transfer request, that he was not for sale at any price.
While that is the case for now, it would be no surprise if a European heavyweight or two came sniffing again in the future, and if Coutinho does ultimately leave, Liverpool will need a replacement.
The Brazil global missed the start of the season with injury, but has scored three goals on his return to action for Jurgen Klopp's men. Mundo claims, Klopp and Liverpool positively accept Coutinho's terms and promise to weigh Barcelona's offer.
That situation will not change while Liverpool are competing to meet their objectives during this campaign, particularly as Jurgen Klopp looks to secure a place in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
