Sucker Punch's New IP is Samurai Action Game Ghost of Tsushima

Sony's official synopsis says that Ghost of Tsushima is set in 1274 in Japan, following the plight of samurai warriors sworn to defend the country.
As PS4 players already have a lot to look forward to for next year, it would make sense for Sucker Punch to hold its game back until 2019 or even later. But what really helped shape the game was the history of the Mongol's invasion of Japan.
At the PlayStation Media Showcase, Sucker Punch Productions, developers behind the Infamous series (the series is called Infamous, not the adjective, yes it's slightly confusing) revealed their new game, Ghost of Tsushima. However, "honorable tactics won't lead you to victory" and they "must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting-the way of the Ghost-as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan".
