It's related to quarterback Tom Brady and the health of his non-throwing shoulder. According to Michael Giardi of NBC Sports Boston, Brady re-aggravated a shoulder injury that he originally hurt against the Panthers on October 1.
Brady has undergone tests for the injury but is expected play in the team's Week 6 game against the Jets in NY on Sunday, sources told ESPN's Mike Reiss.
"I'm good. I'm not anxious about it", he said when he was asked about his injured left shoulder.
Sunday will be Brady's 241st career start in the regular season. Brady has been sacked 16 times so far this season and has been under constant pressure, having to hold the football a bit longer without the underneath security blanket of Julian Edelman. According to ESPN, he's been hit 32 times.
If there was any concern about Tom Brady potentially not playing Sunday against the Jets, the 40-year-old ended that debate when he spoke Wednesday at Gillette Stadium.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski was practicing for the second straight day after missing last Thursday's game while cornerback Eric Rowe and left tackle Nate Solder weren't spotted on the practice field.
