OnePlus 5T specs leak, to be launched in NY

OnePlus 5T spotted on GFXBench, set to launch in New York

The company will unveil the next-generation OnePlus 5T during a press conference on November 16th, and the phone will then be released on November 21st.

It may be hard to track down a OnePlus 5 right now, but the maker of the popular smartphone has already moved on to its next act: the OnePlus 5T.

For those eagerly considering the OnePlus 5T, let me share a key piece of info to help you decide. Previous reports have suggested that the company is looking at a mid-November launch for the OnePlus 5T. While on the front, it will feature a 20MP snapper. We're also expecting dual cameras on the rear of the device along with a 20MP front-facing selfie camera. The back camera, as revealed by the benchmark listing may come with two 16-megapixel sensors. A leak from a noted tech blogger, and phone leaker, Evan Blass also confirmed this belief.

The new offering from the Chinese start-up will be revealed to the world for the first time on November 16 in Brooklyn, New York. On analyzing the image, it shows the iconic skyscraper "Empire State Building" which is popular sightseeing spot as well as you might have seen the building in most Hollywood movies. Moving on to the storage, it's expected that there will be 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB variants of the handset.

But it was enough to get fans excited about what OnePlus has planned for them. NY is the answer to the question, somewhere near West 34th and Broadway in Manhattan. And you'll be able to watch the launch event virtually too, of course.

What this Twitter post merely confirms is that the official announcement is going to made in New York City.
