Panasonic Eluga A4 with 5000mAh battery launched, priced at Rs 12490

The handset is running on Android 7.0 Nougat and it features the company's AI assistant called ABRO that can make suggestions to the users on the basis of their usage patterns. Under a decent price category, Redmi Note 4, one of the flagship devices launched by Xiaomi has looted the hearts of many Indian fans and have swapped their not so smart devices.

The phone is powered by 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU.

As you can guess from the pricing, Eluga A4 is an entry-level device. Though Mediatek is not as efficient as Snapdragon, maybe that's the reason why Eluga is provided with a 5000 mAh battery to manage that trade-off.

Coming to the optics, the Eluga A4 comes with a 13 megapixel primary camera along with an LED flash. The Eluga A4 comes with the company's own ARBO personal digital assistant Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana Business Head - Mobility Division of Panasonic India said, "The increasing demands for 4G smartphones with a good battery at an affordable price has become a necessity today". In fact, the front camera has been downgraded in the A4 from the A3 phones, which had an 8MP sensor.

The Panasonic Eluga A4 sports a metallic build with antenna lines running along the top and bottom half of the phone's rear-side. It is available in Mocha Gold, Marine Blue, Champagne Gold color options.

This phone supports 4G VoLTE, dual SIM with 4G/3G and 2G configuration, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, Global Positioning System (A-GPS) and FM. The device is available for purchase via the Panasonic Authorized Dealer outlets pan India. Backed by a 2000mAh battery, the Panasonic P99 smartphone measures 144.6x71.8x8.6mm and weighs 145 grams.
