Valkyria Chronicles 4 Announced, Coming To West In 2018

Valkyria Chronicles 4 Has Been Announced For Nintendo Switch

It's unclear when Valkyria Chronicles 4 is going to hit Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 next year as Sega didn't provide a concrete release date. This Valkyria Chronicle 4 happens at the same time-interval when the actual Valkyria Chronicles happened. With a healthy dose of villains and magic mixed with technology much like that in World War II, the Valkyria Chronicles series has made a name for itself thanks to a compelling story and deep strategic gameplay.

Just yesterday, Valkyria Chronicles 4 was announced giving fans of the long-standing franchise something new to be excited about.

The new game will take place in the same timeframe as the first game, Valkyria Chronicles, but it will feature a brand new cast of characters to follow as the Second Europan War between the Atlantic Federation and Autocratic Eastern Imperial Alliance rages on.

After Valkyria Revolution adopted an action-RPG bent, Valkyria Chronicles 4 will return to the turn-based/real-time hybrid BLiTZ battle system of the original trilogy. You play a handful of characters, including the "eager, young Commander Claude Wallace, engineer/heavy weapons extraordinaire Riley Miller, hotheaded Darcsen Raz, ice-cold ace sniper Kai Schulen, and more".

Sega has revealed that a new Valkyria game is not only in development, but it's scheduled to release next year too.

The first thing that we know is that when the game first hits Japan, there will be a special edition released called the Valkyria Chronicles 10th Anniversary Memorial Pack.
