The end of an era: As Quartz reported, several of the movie's cast members will have expiring contracts after "Avengers: Infinity War" and the yet-to-be-named final Avengers film finishes up in 2019. Vanity Fair just did a cover story on both the third Avengers flick and the future of the MCU, so the trailer drop dovetails perfectly with everything else that's going on or is about to go down. The only question now is who will be partnering with who to deliver some world-saving efforts on-screen. This could also mean we will see some of these characters die in that movie.
Talking about the work slate, Feige said: "Marvel has got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that's come before - intentionally".
Feige continued saying "There will be two distinct periods. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting", Feige teased.
One area Marvel seems intent to explore is the cosmic side of the publisher's stable of characters, with Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2director James Gunn reportedly working on some spinoff projects in that realm.
With the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War set to arrive tomorrow, Marvel has unveiled a teaser poster for the hotly-anticipated superhero epic which you can check out below...
The poster should look familiar to Marvel fans, as it mimics the simple yet effective design of the Avengers logo that we've seen on the posters for both 2012's The Avengers and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron.
