Experts say as winter approaches and the demand for gas decreases so will prices throughout the state.

Compared to this time last month, the national average price of gas -$2.43-is 12 cents per gallon less expensive, but compared to past year its 20 cents more per gallon.
The average pump price for a gallon of unleaded regular hit $2.37 on Monday, the lowest since August 30, travel club AAA said in its weekly gas price update.
According to AAA Northeast's weekly survey, the price of regular unleaded gas fell to an average $2.52 per gallon in Rhode Island and $2.46 per gallon in MA.
"AAA forecasts a record-setting 97.4 million Americans will take a road trip during the final 10 days of the year". Petersburg-Clearwater markets had the least expensive gas in Florida with an average of $2.30 per gallon followed by Orlando with an average of $2.31 per gallon.
Still, Florida motorists are paying much less than in Pennsylvania ($2.71), NY ($2.63), Washington ($2.94) and California ($3.09), according to AAA figures. Prices at the pump have been estimated to drop as much as eight more cents by Christmas Day.
