Life is Strange Coming this Week to iOS

A sequel is now in production for Life is odd but no release date has been announced.

Developer Dontnod has this week announced that its award-winning game Life is unusual, will be launching on mobile devices this week. The fourth and fifth episodes will be released in 2018, though an actual release date has yet to be announced.

The "faithful" mobile port is being handled by the folks at Black Wing Foundation. It also includes a handful of exclusive features in the form of iMessage stickers and a new in-game photo mode, although your excitement around those will likely vary. You will also be able to compare your game choices with your friends in-app.

The developers state that devices including, and newer than iPhone 6, iPad 5, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 are supported. In other Life is Strange-related news, the conclusion of the SAG-AFTRA video game strike will allow the original voice actors for main characters Chloe and Max to return for the Farewell bonus episode of Before the Storm.

The episodic adventure, originally launched back in 2015, tells the story of a young photography student, Max Caulfied, who discovers she has the ability to manipulate time. A three-episode prequel; Life is Strange: Before the Storm, is now underway on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
