The Nokia 6 (2018) hits TENAA

Nokia 6 2018

The Nokia 6 recently went through TENAA, a necessary part of any smartphone launch with China, with the model number TA-1054 - but it apparently wasn't alone. Nokia 6 was launched earlier this year in India and comes at a starting price of Rs 14,999. It would be called the Nokia 6 (2018). This would mean that the capacitive touch button would be removed in favour of the on-screen navigation buttons. A smartphone with TA-1054 model number with dual SIM was revealed in the screenshot. The fingerprint sensor was also transferred at the back below the camera plate.

Leaks suggest that smartphone will come up with 5.5-inch 18:9 display. Furthermore, the handset will include 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, and either a Snapdragon 630 or 660 chipset.

If rumors are to be believed, HMD Global is expected to launch Nokia 6 2018 within the next few days. It's worth noting the current Nokia 6 launched on January 19 2017. The smartphone has also been subjected to several leaks and rumours giving us a rough sketch of the specification and design of the smartphone. The rest of the features included a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. It seems, Nokia 9 may come with a similar design as the Nokia 8.

There's nothing much different going on at the sidesTENAA

Given the fact that the Nokia 6 (2018) already surfaced on TENAA it's only a matter of weeks before it becomes official. With that said, I really hope this new NOKIA 6 to debut with a brand new camera app because the camera hardware on these NOKIA phones are kind of wasted. Keeping in line with the big display trend of 2017, the new version of Nokia 6 could sport an 18:9 display. So, it is expected to be launched at the same time in 2018 as well.

The original Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch display and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The Bothie feature essentially allows users to simultaneously shoot photos from the front and rear cameras.
