Cinevista studio fire: Officials recover charred body of sound engineer from accident site in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg

Recently, fire also broke out on the premises of Mumbai Sessions Court and in Cinevista Studio. Fire officials stated that the fire-fighting system was not working and they found that the management had compromised with fire safety norms. By the time fire engines reached the spot in around 15 minutes, the fire had spread over a ground plus one building, and had covered nearly 3,000 sq ft.

Once the fire was brought under control, the cooling and cleaning operations were undertaken.

No casualties have been reported.

Though the building did not suffer any major damage, some official records and electrical wirings were gutted, the official said. Fire officials said the first call was made around 7.50 this morning. But, forensic doctors mentioned that he was engulfed inflames of fire which resulted in his death."Two TV serials, "Bepanaah" and "Haasil", were being shot at thestudio when the fire broke out on the set".

In a statement with Indian express a guy suggested that "The disaster happened at about 8 pm and fire engines were summoned immediately".

On December 29, 14 persons were killed in a fire at an upscale pub in the Kamala Mills compound.

According to reports, proceedings inside the court are expected to be affected as the upper portion of the third floor has been badly affected in the fire.
