NOKIA fans have poured scorn on the company's latest smartphone, just hours before the handset is set to be officially launched. After pretty much revealing the design on Chinese certification website Tenna, we now have more from Chinese e-commerce Suning. The smartphone has been launched in two color options - Black and White.
The newly leaked images also seem to confirm one important spec that we already know about the device, that the Nokia 6 (2018) will feature a 5.5-inch Full HDdisplay with 16:9 aspect ratio.
The Nokia 6 comes preloaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo is planned.
The Nokia 6 (2018)'s chassis is crafted using 6000 Series Aluminium for better strength and durability.
The new Nokia 6 comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 630 chipset, a fingerprint scanner on the back and redesigned accents around the edges and the camera.
For imaging, the rear gets a 16MP f/2.0 PDAF main camera, while the front gets an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. The device also ships with a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 128GB. The cell phone likewise bolsters the organization's restrictive Dual-Sight innovation that enables you to catch concurrent shots from the back and front camera sensors to make a Bothie. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor, Adreno 508 graphics, 4GB RAM, 3000mAh battery alongside 32GB and 64GB expandable internal storage capacities.
The Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to go on sale on January 10. Apart from these, the design of the smartphone did not suffer other alterations. It will be surely available in Europe as HMD Global is a Finnish company, but we have no idea about its launch date. The smartphone is priced at 1499 Yuan which is approximately Rs 14,655 for the 32GB internal storage variant while the 64GB internal storage variant will cost you 1699 Yuan which is approximately 16,610. And the 2018 version also has come up with two features unique to this segment- Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C.
