Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Leaked by Danish Retailer
Jan 01 2018
June 8 is still in the spring (albeit at the very end of the season) so Red Dead Redemption 2 wouldn't technically miss its proposed release window.
While Rockstar has confirmed that the game is slated for a Spring 2018 release date and the last day of Spring comes as 21st June, we can hope that Rockstar does deliver on the timely promise of a June 8th release of the game.
Of course, any retailer listing posted prior to a Rockstar confirmation should be taken with a grain of salt.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a western action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective, featuring single-player and online multiplayer components.
It's not uncommon for retailers to use placeholders in their listings but it merits mentioning here that this retailer has previously revealed the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports of Grand Theft Auto 5 before their official announcement. Rockstar thus far has been tight-lipped regarding details of the game including the timing of its launch, only slipping us tidbits and trailers here and there.
And what scenery there is. In addition, this gives Rockstar plenty of time to start preorders and build (even more) hype for the game.
Still, it looks as though we're less than six months away from one of the biggest games in years hitting our consoles. Alas, should Coolshop be right about the release date yet again, all it means is that the dev team will spend a few more weeks polishing the game - and that's not a bad thing.
