Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith last played an National Football League game in 2015. And I'm scared for his life with his addiction. Oakland took a chance on him, and he registered 3.5 sacks in nine games before the suspension came down. He's accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend in a domestic violence incident and leaving the scene.
Smith reportedly posted a picture of pavement on Instagram with the caption, "Wtfoh you all are wrong".
Since being selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Smith has had many off the field troubles that saw him being arrested on several different occasions that included drunken driving, vandalism, and illegal possession of an assault rifle.
Smith, who recently got engaged, is now being pursued by police, who would like to discuss the incident further. TMZ spoke to the woman, and she said the most important thing to her was that Smith gets the help that he needs for his substance abuse problem. Smith fled the San Franciscohome before officers arrived.
Smith, who was playing on a one-year deal with the Raiders when he was suspended, re-signed with the Raiders in 2016 but has yet to be cleared to return to the league.
