With iOS 12, Apple will reportedly put major features on second priority for the next two years and will try to fix current iPad and iPhone issues by adding additional changes to the operating system.

While it's possible we'll see an Apple logo instead of Beats on a new headphones product, that isn't a sure thing. According to Kuo, the goal is to deliver the same ease of use as the AirPods, but with better sound quality.

The Bluetooth headphones include an Apple-built W1 chipset that handles seamless pairing with compatible iOS devices. Further, the headphones are expected to be higher priced compared to the AirPods, the analyst says. The components for the new AirPods, however, will be supplied from Unitech, Compeq, TXC, and HLJ, said Kuo. For those who're not aware, Beats is the same company which was acquired by Apple in 2014 for $3 billion.

However, the expected design language of the device is not yet known. It uses the same wireless chip as the one that you can find in the AirPods.

Apple's AirPods is now priced at Rs 12,900 in India. The wireless AirPods are powered by Apple's W1 chip, and provides up to 5 hours of playback on a single charge.

That chipset, it's been reported, will allow for more comprehensive Siri functionality. Admittedly, tapping the Airpods twice to activate the personal assistant doesn't sound like too much work, but they still decided to make it even easier. The move seems like Apple wants to capitalize on the popularity of the AirPods. The users will now be able to activate the little helper simply by saying the phrase "Hey Siri".

What's likely in this situation is that Apple is working on new wireless headphones, they'll ship under the Beats brand, and they'll pairt with your iPhone AirPods-style-just like the Beats Solo3 already do.
