Carragher was chastised on Sky News earlier on Monday in a 13-minute interview regarding the spitting incident. That is just unacceptable.
His actions have been widely condemned in England, with former Wimbledon hardman Vinnie Jones branding Carragher as "filth", while former Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton described the spitting shame as "absolute madness".
'Surely he's got to see the fact there's a young girl in the auto - he's got kids himself.
SH: Did you speak to the 14-year-old girl?
"There are times in life where we mess up and we do things we regret big time".
"I knew there was someone else in the auto, and I knew it was a female, but I didn't know it was a young girl". No matter who you are, what you're representing.
SH: If it was your daughter... "I shouldn't have done it but I was thinking what is a grown man doing, carrying on like that two or three times with his daughter in the vehicle?"
'That devastates me more than anything.
SH: What happens now? But his broadcasting career is hanging in the balance the station reviews his position as a result of the incident. "It's been something we all could have done without but all I can do now is apologise". "I'll be vilified for it and rightly so".
As the Sky Sports pundit today met with TV bosses, the web was flooded with a series of amusing pictures and video poking fun at the star. Sky have confirmed that he has been suspended for his actions.
Jamie Carragher met with Sky Sports bosses in London on Monday, when he learned he was being suspended. "You have to act in the right way and there's only so much you can do".

And judging by her latest emotional tweet, seeing Carragher abused in the same way has reminded of her of the ordeal she went through.

Greater Manchester Police said they had not received any complaints regarding the incident. "Spitting at 14-year-olds through a window?"
