The fact that you can't buy it from T-Mobile may turn some people off of the Pixel 2 XL, but if you don't mind that, then the Pixel 2 XL is worth considering if you're in the market for a new Android phone.

Meanwhile, to avail the free 18W USB-C charger, customers will need to add the accessory to the Google Store cart while buying the Pixel 2 XL.

Also of note is that the Pixel 2 XL is sold unlocked. The users who updated their Pixel 2 XL phones to the latest January security patch are saying that it did not solve the bug. If you opt for the deal, that means you will be paying $649 for the 64GB option and $749 for the 128GB model. This will effectively knock the purchase price down to $650, which is also the cost of the smaller Pixel 2. The price of the phone is spread out over 24 months by way of the monthly financing.

To get the statement credit, make sure to have a Google Store Financing account open. Under the 24-month terms of Google Financing that is reduced to 35.38 dollars and 39.54 dollars per month, for the 64 GB and 128 GB models, respectively.

Notably, the issue seems to be affected only to the Google Pixel 2 XL as no Pixel 2 users have reported to face such an issue. The recent audio-related issue pops up out of nowhere and is the one that is related to the sound output level of voice clips recorded on the Pixel 2 XL through a messaging app.

A Google Store promotion is offering the Pixel 2 XL with a $200 refund and a free 18W USB-C charger, a good deal for customers looking to purchase a flagship smartphone.
