Monster Hunter World Free Edit Voucher Now Available

Monster Hunter World First Major Update To Release Next Week; Adds Devilijho And More

If you've already played through Capcom's Monster Hunter World and would like to see some new content, you might be interested to learn that Capcom has recently detailed the upcoming Deviljho update on its blog. In-game challenges and some additional gifts are on the way. The daily login bonus Lucky Vouchers will be increased to two per login bonus, and there will also be special tickets and fireworks for the event. This free update will bring a certain world-eating monster, a seasonal event and a litany of other smaller additions and changes. The first, beginning on April 6, 2018, will grant materials to craft the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of the Community Design contest. Gamers who take down these monsters receive numerous materials that can be used to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt down even more unsafe monsters.

Finally, Capcom announced a special Spring Blossom event that will take place from April 6 to April 20.

During the Spring Blossom Fest, Capcom will be introducing the Mega Man voxel style Palico gear. One extra detail worth noting is the introduction of Character Edit Vouchers, which will allow you to change your hunter's gender and appearance. All of the weapons in the game will be getting balance tweaks on March 22nd, like increased damage for the Great Sword's Charged Slash. Players can also use Dante's signature guns as long-range weapons, but it is unknown if the developers will allow them to use other weapons in the series such as Devil Arms in the game.

As revealed just earlier today in a Capcom livestream, the Deviljho monster itself as well as several Deviljho-based quests and rewards will be landing in Monster Hunter World via the game's next update.

Added "Return to Gathering Hub" (single player) and "Disband & Return to Gathering Hub" (multiplayer) to the options for "Select Return Destination" after a quest has been completed.
