Taylor Swift Shows Off Her Dance Moves In New "Delicate" Music Video

Taylor Swift

Taylor collaborated with Joseph Kahn for the new music video which was reportedly filmed over two nights in downtown Los Angeles. She did no interviews for the release of her smash hit album Reputation and has been quiet on her social media platforms. Taylor Swift plays a standard celebrity who's exhausted of the never-ending fame and media attention.

Swift's fans have since described the song as the "most romantic thing ever", following several videos in which the star has referenced her previous relationships with high-profile men. So when she teased on Instagram that she would be debuting the footage during the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 11, we totally thought, based on this premise, that it was going to have maybe a "Style" or "Wildest Dreams" vibe, featuring a love interest.

Both clips revolve around a woman (Taylor in "Delicate" and Margaret in the ad) in fancy dresses at a black-tie event who, after each becomes disillusioned with her stuffy surroundings, starts dancing wildly and making faces all around the venue. However, when she magically turns invisible, she gets to live the life she's been longing for, dancing around her hotel and the subway without anyone taking notice.

Soon, Taylor walks through an elaborate hotel lobby surrounded by her bodyguards, with onlookers gawping at her.

Never let it be said that Taylor Swift is too cool for school to make silly faces in videos.

"Honey the freedom and the happiness you showed in the video was everything...such an incredible reminder to be yourself and to never be afraid to do what's right for you I LOVE YOU", one fan wrote.

The "Delicate" clip-promoting the sixth single from Reputation-is remarkably entertaining, but its visuals have struck some viewers as oddly familiar. At times, her real self was invisible.

What do you think of the music video?

As for the note, in the lyrics for Delicate, Swift receives a text from her crush that says "Dive bar on the East Side, where you at?" According to the theory, the magical note Taylor receives represents that message, and then she ultimately arrives at her destination.

Swift's latest music video premiered Sunday night, and it didn't take long for fans to recognize striking similarities between it and a 2016 perfume ad for Kenzo, helmed by famed director Spike Jonze.
