Will E!'s Oscars red carpet with Ryan Seacrest be tape-delayed?

Several Oscar nominees, including Allison Janney, and Mary J. Blige, were interviewed by Seacrest, but E! seemed to rely on co-hosts Kristin dos Santos and Giuliana Rancic, who were based across the street from the Dolby Theatre, to address any potentially troublesome spots for Seacrest. The Feb. 26 story included specifics of Hardy's allegations against Seacrest, which included him rubbing up against her, groping her, and engaging in a pattern of sexual misconduct.

Seacrest has repeatedly denied her allegations since himself making them public in November.

Award show red carpets are created to be frothy fun affairs where fashion is instantly critiqued, gentle small talk is spread across hundreds of entertainment news cameras and maybe something meme-friendly can tumble out to keep Twitter busy.

E! is reportedly considering a time delay for its red carpet television coverage due to the controversy surrounding Ryan Seacrest, according to Deadline.

"This is not about his guilt or innocence", Burke continued.

Asked about the allegations on "The Howard Stern Show", she admitted she wasn't up to speed, so when the presenter explained them to her, she said: "I can't imagine him being sexual". "We shouldn't have to make those choices of, "Do we or don't we?'"

Responding to Hardy's Variety tell-all, Seacrest released his own statement on Tuesday (27Feb18). "You know what I mean?"

E! has also recently drawn criticism over longtime host Catt Sadler's exit in December, which she attributed to a "massive disparity in pay" with her male colleague Jason Kennedy. Seacrest strongly denied the allegations and an internal investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing; many within the Hollywood community have suggested either skipping interviews with the network or using that screen time in order to state a message. Some on Twitter were quick to note that she appeared to be delivering a jab when she told him, "The universe has a way of taking care of good people". 'I am not a judge. Live at the Red Carpet broadcast. "I don't know ... that is where this stuff gets tricky". "They'll just be like, 'I don't really want to deal with this today, '" she said.
