Eagles cornerback reportedly arrested, tased after becoming combative with police

The 23-year-old was found passed out in his vehicle by police on a Philadelphia highway.

"Daryl Worley was arrested at 6 am this morning when he became combative with police and Philadelphia police administrated a taser on him, sources tell Mike Garafalo and me".

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Eagles CB Daryl Worley was arrested Sunday morning in Philadelphia following an altercation with police.

The NFL Network first reported the arrest.

The incident took place near the Eagles' team facility. Worley was also reportedly found with a gun.

Worley pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge during his college career at West Virginia, and the Panthers chose to move on from the young defensive back after two seasons.

It is not yet clear why Worley, who is a Philly native, was arrested.

Worley, 23, was selected by the Panthers in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft but was traded to the Eagles for wide receiver Torrey Smith last month.

Worley starred at Penn Charter before going to West Virginia. It doesn't sound good.
