Fortnite Battle Royale available to download for free on iPhone and iPad

Fortnite is now available on iOS for everyone, no invite required

If you are unfamiliar with Fortnite, you should know that the game is based on the "Battle Royale" mode, where 100 players are thrown around on a huge map and have to fight for their lives until only one player remains victorious.

Prior to the release of PUBG on mobile devices, Epic Games announced their decision to bring their own battle royale title, appropriately dubbed "Fortnite Battle Royale", to iOS and Android devices. Just note that you'll need iOS 11, and at least an iPhone 6S to get in on the action. The game left beta and is now available publicly for the iOS devices.

Epic Games addressed the vibration bug and is working on fixing it.

It follows another big Epic Games announcement today for those fans of the Battle Royale game on mobile. (Presumably the new 2018 iPad too.) But if you have an iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3 or an iPod Touch, you're out of luck. Basically, gamers on the mobile version can actually play against those on more powerful platforms. The only exception to this is PS4 and Xbox One.

With the help of the bug, numerous Fortnite Players have seen the availability of this Vending Machines feature on their game. The game's free-to-play business model helps it in attracting games and in-game purchase helped it in earning money. Since the game will provide you weekly updates, in future, you will get tons of additional features and more to explore within the game. The screenshot below indicates that the Vending Machine is coming soon, and will allow you to "Trade in spare materials for extra gear!", which sounds like that wood-in-exchange-for-weapons system will be a go when it officially launches.
