Houston Texans 2018 preseason schedule released

Full Schedule Raiders open at home against Lions preseason Week 1

The NFL's full regular season schedule is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Though they haven't announced plans for joint practices, the Eagles nearly certainly are planning them with either New England or Cleveland leading up to those games.

Tennessee will visit the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 of the preseason.

Game 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (weekend of August 16-19). And the Patriots game on August 30 MetLife Stadium, could give new Giants left tackle Nate Solder a chance to face his former team. Additionally, Washington and Baltimore have played each other in six of the last nine preseasons.

No Houston Texans, New England Patriots or Baltimore Ravens on the schedule. His new vision for the Silver and Black will be on display for the first time against the Detroit Lions in the first week of preseason games.

The only preseason game whose exact date and kickoff time is presently known is the game against Buffalo in Week 3 on Sunday, Aug. 26.

Since Mike Zimmer took over as head coach in 2014, the Vikings are 14-3 in preseason play. The Ravens host their neighbors to the south for the second-straight year and lead the all-time preseason series with Washington, 7-3. It includes appearances by two quarterbacks who had key roles in propelling the Bills into the playoffs last season to end a 17-year drought.

The preseason will end August 30-31, and the regular season for the Cowboys begins Sunday, Sept. 9.

The Ravens have won their past eight preseason games, the only team in the National Football League to go unbeaten over the past two preseasons.

It's not news that will get fans overly excited, but it is always interesting to find out who will be on the docket for the tune up games.
