The note reads, "Saquon Barkley No Matter What", which is a play on the fake scene in the movie where Kevin Costner unfolds a note that reads "Vontae Mack No Matter What".
In his three years at Penn State, he rushed for 3,843 yards and scored 43 rushing touchdowns.
The argument for taking Barkley is that he is supremely talented and could single-handedly transform the offense.

In what was new general manager Dave Gettleman's first draft with the team, his close-to-the-vest mentality had the Giants holding all the cards of this year's festivities despite the Cleveland Browns owning the No. 1 pick.
"He is our quarterback, we believe in him", Gettleman said of Manning.
The Giants passed on an heir apparent to two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and took a running back that many think is the best to come out of college in decade.
"I don't care", he said. He registered what many have called the best NFL Combine performance ever, running a 4.4 40-yard dash, bench pressing 225 pounds 29 times, jumping 41 inches in the vertical, and running a 4.24 20-yard shuttle, all at 6-feet, 233 pounds. Since age three or four, Barkley has always said [via The Players' Tribune], "I want to play in the National Football League one day". So the Giants could be armed with two home run hitting threats if they re-sign Beckham to a long-term contract and keep him a Giant.
Barkley can make them an immediate contender.
The Giants haven't had a 1,000-yard rusher since Ahmad Bradshaw in 2012. The following season, he led the Big Ten in all-purpose yards (140.86 yards per game) and 22 total touchdowns while finishing second with 1,496 rushing yards. And they're all gone. "Hey, [Giants running back] Jonathan Stewart is in his 10th year and he's hardly lost it".
Yet Barkley possesses the physical and cerebral gifts to be a transcendent player and future Hall-of-Famer.
