Houston overcomes Harden's off night to push the champs to the brink

If he isn't, we have enough guys; it's time for somebody else to step up. "We compete, we hungry". We really do. We want it bad. "We know we can go get it back, so it's no panic". We saw more tanking teams than ever this season, largely because of the Warriors as more teams than usual felt they had no chance right out of the gate.

It's hard to deny that the Houston Rockets have already had a remarkable season, but there's always been a sense that their season would ultimately be judged on the outcome of one series.

After Draymond Green hit a 3-pointer that took the Warriors within one point with 1:15 to play, Paul isolated on the other end. "We know what the situation is".

"I've tried my best all year to try and not talk about their age", Celtics coach Brad Stevens said after Game 6. We have to have all five on a string ready to guard'. Through the first two games of the series, the Celtics averaged 107.5 points on what felt like effortless execution - Game 3 was a much different story.

The Rockets do have a nickname for a lineup not featuring the starters - The Tuckwagon. Kerr listed Iguodala as day to day because there's still pain in the knee when running.

"In the preseason we played Charlotte with Dwight Howard", said Stevens.

Since then, many teams assembled rosters to combat the Warriors, including a Cavs team comprised of LeBron, Kevin Love, Isaiah Thomas and Dwyane Wade earlier this year. He's a tremendous talker.

"I thought he looked a little exhausted", Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said, per Nora Princiotti of the Boston Globe.

"Both teams are playing their guys heavy minutes so shots will fall or not", James Harden said.

The Cavaliers, who have played the Warriors in each of the last three finals, trail the Celtics 3-2 in the Eastern Conference finals.

"I just think that at home, one of the big things is, I truly believe, it's our fans", said Horford. "It sounds insane because of the talent of the Warriors, but just the way their switching defense has given Golden State problems over the years, that gives the Celtics confidence". In a way, it shed a light on the mindset and philosophy of so many, both in the National Basketball Association and those observing it: You can't win, so why try? Kerr said the small forward is feeling better and making progress. It's a credit to the atmosphere that's here. He just competes and plays.

"We have a big challenge to go on the road", he said.

The Rockets provided tickets for more than 300 Santa Fe High seniors, along with some staff and first responders, to attend the game and players wore a commemorative patch on their uniforms. And while it may have been challenging for the team in Game 4 without Andre Iguodala, they may be without two of their best five players for Game 5.
