Pamela Gidley, Actress in 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me,' Dies at 52

In 1985, she was declared the "Most Beautiful Girl In The World" by the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency.

Actress Pamela Gidley has died aged 52.

"Sherilyn Fenn, who started off with Pamela in Thrashin" before moving onto Twin Peaks together, also posted a throwback photo of the two. This was the prequel movie to the short-lived television series, so it certainly brought a lot of attention to the actress. But her most famous portrayal came in 1992, courtesy of "Twin Peaks" director David Lynch.

In a March 2016 interview, Gidley recalled how she was flying from the Bahamas to Seattle, film the "Twin Peaks" prequel and another film "The Crew".

"He offered me that role, and so there was a conflict of interest", she said.

Besides her mother, Phyllis M. Gidley of Hampton, she is survived by her brothers, Glenn Gidley of Salem, N.H., Daniel Gidley and his wife Darlene of Hampton, and Brian Gidley of Haverhill, Mass., nephews and nieces, Adam, Keegan, Erica and Alexis Gidley.
