Here's everything you need to know about the Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron

Lego has launched the latest member of its Technic family of kits, a 3,599-piece extravaganza that lets builders replicate the Bugatti Chiron.

Hypercar manufacturer Bugatti has teamed-up with toy producer LEGO to create a 1:8 scale model of its latest auto - the Chiron.

So, Lego fans, will you be spending several thousand pesos to own the most complex Lego supercar ever? You even get a key, which cannot only switch the active rear wing from "handling" to "top speed" position, but also unlocks the hood to reveal a serial number that's unique to each model. Well now, thanks to LEGO, you can.

It comes with logoed spoked rims, an 8-speed gearbox with moveable paddle gearshift, an active rear wing that can change position, and a W16 engine with moveable pistons.

While it may not be quite as large as the actual auto, it's still a big model, even by LEGO standards. The Danish company, famed for its iconic plastic construction blocks, has produced a 1:8 scale version of the Bugatti Chiron!

Comprised of exactly 3,599 pieces, the new Bugatti LEGO collaboration brings together the iconic design heritage of the French ultra-luxury vehicle brand and LEGO Technic elements. That's actually not too bad when you consider the size of this set and all of the features that LEGO baked in. The finished model measures over 5-inches tall, 22-inches long, and 9-inches wide. I am impressed at the precision and refinement with which our super sports vehicle has been translated into the LEGO world and I am sure that fans of both LEGO bricks and Bugatti will love this product.”.

The set includes a collectors' booklet with comprehensive building instructions.

Priced at US$350, the new LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron is available now online at as well as LEGO stores, and come August 1, 2018, all other retailers will be included.
