Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's post-wedding thank you cards revealed

Meghan Markle news Prince Harry and wife's flowers from Elizabeth McKenna

A source told ET last month that Markle is excited about her new Duchess role, and has been "anxious" to "jump in" and learn as much as possible about British life ever since she Wednesday Prince Harry. Check out snaps of Meghan and Prince Harry as they toast young leaders. Clad in a yellow Brandon Maxwell midi dress, the Duchess of Sussex was all smiles as she and her husband chatted with young people - including those from countries they will visit on their tour this fall.

Fashion expert Lucas Armitage told Daily Mail: "I feel this is a clever styling tactic as it will always work with the Queen's look; she is known and applauded for her use of bright fun colours".

The official event marks the end of the Commonwealth Secretariat's youth leadership workshop, which brings together newly-elected members of the Commonwealth Youth Council Executive and leaders of the Commonwealth Youth networks. A fan thought they could hear a change in the duchess' accent when she said the word "scone", which she pronounced to rhyme with "gone."

Prince Harry, who was appointed Commonwealth Youth Ambassador earlier this year, said: "Meghan and I are incredibly excited to meet so many of you representing the future of the Commonwealth".

Her confidence has translated into her new role as a royal as seen in her and Harry's behavior just days after their wedding at Prince Charles' 70th birthday party. As reported by Harper's Bazaar, Meghan has been seen in neutral tones whenever she makes an appearance alongside the Queen so as to avoid taking away or clashing with the royal's usually neon toned ensembles.

Meghan then joined The Queen for a series of engagements in Cheshire, marking her first engagements with Her Majesty and first engagements without Harry.

"HRH, The Duchess of Sussex looks STUNNING."
