Luigi’s Mansion 3 Announced For Nintendo Switch

Nintendo is rolling out its Switch Online service next week

Of course, there's likely to be some gameplay tricks up Nintendo's sleeve with the Switch.

The much anticipated online gaming service for the popular Nintendo Switch has a start date: September 18.

The service also unlocks access to a library of NES games, including Super Mario Bros.

Prior to this change, it is important to confirm that your Nintendo Account or your child's Nintendo Account is linked to the correct user.

Nintendo started off today's Nintendo Direct with the debut of a teaser trailer for Luigi's Mansion 3, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

After the maintenance is done, version 6.0.0 will be available in the Switch eShop, and you will be able to purchase a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

The service will cost $3.99 for one month, $7.99 for three, or $19.99 for 12.

The start date for the online service was presumably going to be announced last week during the planned Nintendo Direct, but the presentation was cancelled following a major natural disaster in Japan. There are options for both individual and family memberships (up to 8 users).

If you've been waiting for more concrete details on the Switch Online service, Nintendo-barring any last minute interruptions-will finally have some news for you tomorrow morning.
