Ah, yes - everyone loves a royal rebel ignoring the rule book.

At the time, some armchair experts who were quick to take to the internet to pass on their views on Meghan's breach of "royal etiquette".

While there are undoubtedly guidelines royals are expected to adhere to in public - refraining from voicing their political opinions, for instance - it seems the royal-adoring public is, well, inventing a lot of them.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her mother Doria Ragland arrive at the launch of her cookbook featuring the recipes of women who lived in Grenfell Tower.

And now, it seems, the Duchess of Sussex has another string to her bow.

Another added: "She is still used to doing certain things like closing her own door".

Fans on social media couldn't get enough of Meghan's latest move, calling the 36-year-old royal "humble" and "down to earth".
