OnePlus major leak reveals Android flagship OnePlus 6T in full glory

OnePlus 6T latest teaser out indicates bezel-less design in-screen fingerprint scanner

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its new flagship phone, OnePlus 6T.

What you see above is the upcoming OnePlus 6T in Mirror Black and Midnight Black finishes, leaked by WinFuture. This confirms previous reports which said that the OnePlus 6T will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. He talked a bit about price too, specifically as it relates to that new in-display fingerprint reader that carries a "definite cost", meaning you should all prepare for a higher price than the OnePlus 6.

When a phone like OnePlus 6T is around the corner, awaiting its launch, there are bound to be a lot of rumours, leaks and speculations popping up across the internet.

We'll know all about what OnePlus has to offer in the 6T when it's unveiled later this month.

OnePlus is even redesigning the notch on the 6T, replacing it with a "water drop" notch design that's much smaller than the one on the OnePlus 6.

Apart from the changes mentioned above, the OnePlus 6T is also reported to get a new screen format, with a tiny notch on top.

The battery on the OnePlus 6T has also been upgraded to 3700mAh which will be promising better battery life. Another major change in the OnePlus 6T is that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack in the device and there is only one USB Type-C port for both charging and connecting wired headphones (with Type-C connector).

Something else the OnePlus 6T won't have is an IP certification rating.

OnePlus has not been shy in releasing the odd detail on its next smartphone, with a teaser video hitting Twitter last week. Furthermore, OnePlus also said that T-Mobile will be the first U.S. carrier to sell the 6T. However, while the company is taking measures to ensure proper wireless charging, Lau's response in the CNET article about whether the OnePlus 6T has an official IP rating is a wordier version of "it's good enough now without an official rating". The device is expected to come with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box.

Speaking of technical specifications, the upcoming smartphone is expected to be similar to the OnePlus 6 i.e. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip (SoC) and three RAM & storage configurations - 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
