Friends and other community members in Tempe have started a makeshift memorial where a young ASU student was killed in a weekend road rage shooting.

Police say shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday, Jiang and a 21-year-old friend were stopped at a red light in a Mercedes at the intersection of Broadway and McClintock when Davis rear-ended them.

The wounded woman was taken to a hospital where she died.

Arrests reports indicate that Davis had previously been convicted for resisting a lawful stop and fleeing in Missouri, and was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison.

The suspect, Holly Davis has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon.
