Bajaj Auto, India’s second largest two-wheeler maker, has reported a 66% increase in motorcycle sales to 279,781 units in July up from 168,163 for the same time last year.
Exports increased to 106,794 from 68,585 an increase of 56.1%.
Bajaj say that production constraints are limiting their overall sales plan although point out that exports are ahead of schedule.
