Strangely we’re not massive fans of the Multistrada here at Stay On The Black. I mean sure it’s a nice bike, but the styling didn’t blow us away when we first saw it as it did some other people.
This however, this is a different matter. It’s simply stunning. I know some of you won’t like the abundant use of carbon fibre or the strange ‘double ears’ it seems to have. But ignoring those trivial points, it is stunning.
The Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Special Edition, developed in the wake of the stunning Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Race victory, features a muffler and windshield as standard along with a Ducati Performance exhaust & black anodised protective cover, Ducati Performance carbon fiber low-slung nose fairing and red stitching in the seat and will be available from May 2011.
Ducati will be defending their Pikes Peak championship in 2011 with Greg Tracy and Alexander Smith.
