Steve – the most capped England International – was blissfully unaware that while he enjoyed a coffee with friends his worst nightmare was coming true just metres from where he was sitting.
Sadly, like many other motorcyclists, the London Wasps and World Cup-winning hooker had never planned for such an event and his prize possession was taken and never seen again. The 33 year-old reported the crime as soon as he became aware of the incident and the police reacted quickly, but sadly to no avail.
