To celebrate the launch of the 2011 XR1200® Trophy race series, Harley-Davidson UK is offering an incentive package worth £1,240 to the first 40 customers who purchase an XR1200X™ motorcycle from an authorised Harley-Davidson UK and Ireland dealership.
Each 2011 XR1200X™ will be supplied with a free Remus Exhaust system with satin finished headers and titanium Powercone, free tail tidy with LED stop light, free Nano LED indicators and a free fade to blacksports quick detachable Harley-Davidson windshield. The bike is available for £9,599 on the road.
The additional parts will add to both the performance and the style of the machine, which forms part of the XR family that can be seen performing on track at selected British Superbike Championship events and televised on Eurosport.
The Remus Exhaust supplied is fully compliant with the bike’s catalytic converter and works well with the standard calibration, however an uprated performance map is being supplied to dealers to deliver up to 10% additional performance over the standard XR1200X™ motorcycle.
Display versions of the motorcycle with uprated parts are available to view in all authorised dealerships now, but the free upgrade offer is limited to the first 40 motorcycle sales of this specific machine.
