Honda has chosen the fifth round of the MotoGP Championship to show a preview of the all new Honda NSF250R Moto3 bike.
The motorcycle will replace the 125cc two-stroke machines, currently racing, from 2012.
There’s a single-cylinder four-stroke liquid cooled engine which has been designed specifically for this motorcycle.
Honda say that to ensure power is throughout the RPM range they’ve used titanium valves for both intake and exhaust and there’s a quickly removable gearbox.
The bike weighs in at 84kg and will be available to purchase from December 2011 priced at 23,600 Euros.

“Our goal is to broaden the base of motorsport through the introduction of the new Moto3, and the greatest joy for this class will be well able to stand as a springboard for future samples.”
