MotoGP Race Report And Results - Estoril 2011

Marco Simoncelli failed to live up to the promise as he crashed out early on along with Hector Barbera too.

We’d like to tell you about the race but pretty much the results you see below are how everyone went round the track for all the laps.

It was one of the worst MotoGP races we’ve seen for a long time. The word procession is probably being too kind.

Still, excellent ride for Cal Crutchlow who’d had a lot of fluid taken from his arm in the morning.

Not so good for Nicky Hayden as he seemed to have some major issues and was going backwards slowly.

With just four laps to go, Pedrosa took the lead from Lorenzo and then ran off into the distance to take the win.

That is really all there is to say. Think of this like one of those games on Match of the Day where they skip the first half because nothing happened.
